Here it is possible to see the video imported and manage all the events using the controls:
Time Range & Crop
Time Range: time setting (in seconds) of the start and end of the clip (Start Time and End Time).
Crop: cutting of portions of video, starting from the top, the bottom, right and left.
Available Streams
Here it is possible to set the video streaming parameters, such as:
Encode: by ticking the box, the line containing the total settings of the vide to be encoded is selected (see Encode section).
Stream: the type of connection used to display the video (Modem, ISDN, ADSL1, ADSL2, MEGA).
Width and Height: the width and height of the video.
Frame Rate: the number of frames per second (fps).
Video Bitrate and Audio Bitrate: unit of measurement used to quantify the data (bits) within the time unit (usually expressed in seconds).
In the music and digital video filed, it is the direct index of the sound and image quality. For example, an MP3 file with a bitrate of 128 Kbps is of better quality (CD) than the same MP3 with 40 Kbps (the most used).
The higher the bitrate, the higher the quality of the video or the audio produced.
Maintain Aspect Ratio: given the width, it resizes the video in height, retaining the same proportions of the input source video.
Maintain Source Dimension: does not allow changes to the video height and width; a video with the same dimensions as the input source will be generated.
De-interlace: removes the interlacing effects between the frames, improving the quality of the encoded video. .
Generate HTML page: includes the encoded video in an html page(see Applet section).
Clear: clicking
, it is possible to reset the lines selected.
Default: clicking
it is possible to restore the original program settings, optimised for every type of connection band.
Encode: clicking
